Mobility Access Ramp



For the first time in its 107 year existence, the building at 56 Stewart Street Crewe now has a fully DDA compliant permanent disabled access ramp. With a Community Grant from Cheshire East Council and with the support of other local partners including Wulvern Housing and Tinks Day Nursery we have been able to successfully complete our Mobility Access Community Project. This project was aimed at improving accessibility to all current and anticipated users of the facilities based at New Testament Church of God Crewe, 56 Stewart Street CW2 8LX.
On Thursday 5^th December 2013 over 120 of our regular users and partners joined with us in officially opening the ramp for community access. Present at this event was Cheshire East Council Local Area Partnership Chairman – Mr Adrian Lindop and Crewe Local Area partnership Manager – Dawn Clark who officially declared the ramp open. These improvements to access have been and will continue to be of great benefit to all within our local community without exclusion.
